Stichting Juttersmuseum Texel
Objective:
- The preservation of Texel’s nautical and maritime cultural heritage in the broadest sense of the word;
- The preservation of objects related to beachcombing and wreck salvaging in the broadest sense of the word;
- The preservation of objects fished up and brought ashore by Texel’s fishermen;
- Carrying out all further activities that relate to the above in the broadest sense or may be conducive thereto.

The board members receive no remuneration for their work.
Main points of the 2021 policy plan:
- Preservation of the collection, which currently consists of approximately 1,000 objects. These objects are located in the exhibition rooms and on the outdoor grounds of the Maritiem- en Juttersmuseum Flora
- Expanding the collection: acquiring objects that meet our objective.
- Documenting the collection by photographing and digitising it.
- Objects from the collection can be loaned out for short-term exhibitions on Texel.
